Greg McInnes - Principal
Greg McInnes was admitted to practice in 1975. He has deep expertise in property, finance, telecommunications, corporate and commercial law, and direct entrepreneurial experience in the telecommunications and hospitality industries.
Greg's key attribute is the ability to understand complex legal and commercial problems, and to successfully implement creative solutions to those problems.
Greg has broad legal experience across every area of the Bromhead Legal practice. He is the author of a number of professional papers, including several on the topic of NSW Stamp Duty.
Over an extensive career in private legal practice, Greg has lectured and conducted a University Post-Graduate degree course, assisted to establish a large overseas Mortgage Fund in Australia, Throughout his legal career, Greg has acted for some of Australia's largest Builders, financial organisations, telecommunications carriers (including Vodafone, NextGen, Hutchison ["Orange" CDMA mobile] and), as well as and advised in a wide range of corporate businesses matters (both in Australia and overseas). Greg's practice involved him in documenting as well as revenue and business structuring matters.
Since starting practising in Forster, Greg advises in relation to commercial and corporate instructions within the firm, in what has become a very wide range of legal disciplines, centred around the often very complex requirements of the Bromhead Legal community of clients.
He has:
• documented complex local business sales within the CGT-Small Business Exemption Income Tax Laws,
• acted for Plaintiff in Court Defamation Proceedings,
• advised on Land Title disputes with Council,
• secured the grant of a contested Possessory Title,
• compelled significant public local infrastructure works to remove an encroachment,
• generally been able to assist in a broad variety of instructions that were of high importance to "real" people.
Greg is also responsible for handling commercial litigation, intellectual property, Estate planning and Trade Practice matters. He is also responsible for general practice oversight, and practice development. Bromhead Legal operates in Forster and Tamworth NSW under Greg's supervision and responsibility.
Greg brings a passion for excellence, continuous improvement and extension in all aspects of the firm. He is committed to family, prefers an elliptical ride and has no musical ability whatsoever.

Robert West is a fully qualified and experienced Solicitor, admitted to practice in the NSW Supreme Court in 1971. From 1978 he operated his own successful family practice at Chester Hill, in Sydney. Jo-Anne is a Licensed, Specialist Conveyancer. Jo is our Process Team Leader - our Agent 99, but from Central Control. We think that Jo is the best there is - and so do our clients. Jo has prime central supervision and responsibility within the team for overall process and quality standards supervision of the business

Jo has been a qualified, specialist Conveyancer for over 8 years and brings a wealth of experience to her clients.
Jo is a long term, well-known local resident of Forster, and a dedicated wife and Mum. Jo is heard frequently singing, sweetly and tunefully, in the office. Here, we feel that a secondary talent perhaps lies undiscovered. Although we encourage the singing, the "day job" hopefully will remain the priority for a long while to come.
